Well, the summer is coming to a close which means football is getting ready to start. We play 5 preseason games this season. (regularly 4) Yuck. That’s a lot of energy to expend for something that will pretty much just go away. Obviously I want to do well with those opportunities, but you do kinda get get ready for real bullets to fly after a while. I covet any prayers you can offer up in this time for my family and me. It is difficult being away but it always seems to go quickly. Before we know it it will be September and we’ll be lining up for our first game in the new stadium. I am as excited for this season as I’ve ever been for one. I truly believe my glad anticipation is from God.
This off season has been an amazing time of growth for me with regard to my perspective on football. Once again God has driven home the truth (through different means) that He is all that matters. Not wins, not “platforms”, not album sales or contracts, not even ministry. Loving Him and loving others is first . . . . . . . and only! Lord, may we always err on the side of loving You and others. And, in doing so, not err at all.

Connersvine
Hunter, God, through Connersvine has made such a difference in my life, and I’m sure so very many others this summer. God was very glorified I’m sure, in alot of areas, because of your ministry, and allowing God to put the people in the places they were meant to be this summer. When you were at Tipton, your testimony about what is truly important in life, or whatever you do, do it for His glory has given me new meaning about alot of things. I’m so glad that God has given you a football spark. I can only imagine how tough it is to do 5 pre season games, and be away from home. I will keep you, and your families in my prayers. I too, being the Colts fan that I am, and always will be, am looking forward to the season ! So God Bless You, and Good Luck this year ! Kim F.
Hunter I just read that you are conducting a fight song for the Indianapolis Symphony orchestra. Congratulations. What an honor!
A lot of people are excited about this season. I have already recieved numerous invites to view training camp.
Your wife is an amazing woman. I can’t help but to pray for her. ANd you and Chris as well.
Hey Hunter, just wanted you to know that we’re praying for you and your family as you get ready for another great season of football. It’s hard being away but you are right, time will move fast. Thanks for a wonderful season of awesome music and worship.Love to see you in August if circumstances allow. God Bless you, Becky Be Safe!
Hunter and Chris,
It has been a crazy summer for us and I just thought I’d check your site and see how things are going for Connersvine. It sounds like you’ve been a lot of places and I’m sure touched a lot of hearts along the way. Thanks for not just wonderful music, but for the humbleness and the love of God that shines through in all you do. When you put God first everything else will fall into place according to His (not our) plan. I listen to your songs often on my CD (since our local station still does not seem to play them) and they each minister to me in a different way. I hope to be able to make your concert in Muncie. I’d love to hear Hunter’s testimoney since we always seem to be out of town when you guys are anywhere close. Take Care and I will keep you both and your families in my prayers. We are going to try to go down to Terre Haute to visit family next week, so we may stop by to cheer you on at camp!

I am a huge football fan and a Pastor in TX. I heard your song Live for You on KLOVE and just fell in love with the sound. Great songs and great praise.
Funny thing is, I had no ideal who you were. I bought the CD today and looked you guys up on Wiki. No page for the band, but it had a link to your bio. Man was I shocked to see you listed as the punter for the Colts.
I have been a Raiders fan since I was 11, but I would pull for the Colts on the side because of Manning. Guy seems like a class act. Now I have another reason to cheer for you guys.
Good luck on the upcoming season and I pray that God continues to bless you and your family.
