Howdy folks!! I just got back from my first music boat cruise. For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about this is a new thing out there in American Christendom. People make their vacation plans for the year for a cruise with a bunch of Christian artists.
Some of the ones on our boat included Casting Crowns, Leland, Toby Mac, Rush Of Fools, Hawk Nelson, Joy Williams, Matthew West, Newsong, and a few others. It was fun. We had 3 opportunities to play and they all went well. I’m sure Chris will post some pictures when he gets back. My wife wasn’t able to go because they cut off the age for children at 4 months and Samuel is 2 months old. Of course, 4 months/2 months/6 months………well, it’s all bedlam so I don’t know where they got that number. At any rate, I was a third wheel with Chris and Jenna (his wife) for 3 days and left early from Mexico after we had fulfilled our playing schedule. It was fun hanging with them and all, but at some point it’s time to let them be a married couple on a cruise and excuse myself. Cruising solo is no fun because all you do is eat to ease the boredom. Every one feels sorry for you too. Between these two you come home fat and feeling sorry for yourself. It was time to come home. My wife is glad I’m home too.
By the way, the minivan is running like a top and getting cooler with each coming day. I’m looking for some “high water” khaki pants and a good pair of redeemed lawn mowing shoes laced up too tight to round out the persona. Blessings to you all!

Hey Hunter,so glad you made it home safe,and sound, and no one threw you overboard or something. We were prayin for this cruise to touch many hearts. I’m not sure why they have a cut off age,It’s not like a ride a King Island,or a least we hope not!Good luck finding those flood pants,and shoes,you’re so gonna rock!LOL! Thanks for the update. I’ve been waiting for more posts here!! A good friend and I are planning to go on one of those cruises in the next few years. They seem like they’d be a lot of fun, at least for the fans. Maybe not so much for the artists?
All I have to say about the van is we need pics if you ever do complete the ensemble!
I wonder if the age cutoff has to do with when a baby sleeps through the night? No idea really. It’s been so long since I’ve had a little one.
We would have gladly watched Samuel for you for a few days. Since I graduate all the jobs I see require the dreaded “experience needed.” Oh well. God has a plan!! LOL

You’re right Darin. I don’t do a lot of mowing. Still, I will have to find someone’s old lawn mowing shoes to play my new role. Maybe I could just take a walk behind the guy as he mows my lawn and use those shoes. I’m weird.

Hunter, all fooling aside, you and Chris are an inspiration to all of us that know you. We listen to the cd every chance we get. The whole cd is so powerful!!!! It really means alot to hear those words of inspiration and faith, and know they come from the heart. D and D ps NO MINI VANS you are too cool

yea i agree with darin, yall are inspirations to us i love to lsiten to yall especially on sunday mornigns and falling asleep, especially “A Time To Die”. I wlaked into a christian bookstore and i saw “Quiet Strength” by Tony Dungy and then I went into the music section and i saw yalls cd, i love the testimony of the colts!!! but even more more i love yalls testimony lordwilling one of these days i wanna see yall!
