Lonely Chris And The Election

missing_hunter.jpg

Chris is on his own. Tonight in Oklahoma City and the rest of the tour he is all alone on the big stage. Of course he will get someone to accompany him, but he IS Connersvine from here on out. Pray that he continues to do what he has done all along. Pray that worship flows from him and the presence of God is thick in the place. It’s gonna be great.

By the way, who do y’all like for president? Don’t be afraid to be opinionated! (yes, very random..)

Hi Hunter!I’m so proud of Chris! He must be a nervous wreck!I’m praying that God will just breath His calm in and through him while he is on this hugh stage, and he and all will feel God’s presence.Chris has amazing talent, but it must feel sooo strange not having you there.I just got home from a Toby Mac/Jeremy Camp concert and my ears are still ringing! Wow! God filled Conseco with His presence,it was almost overwhelming!Ben Utecht helped close. It was great, even with the sucky acoustics in that place. For president? Now that’s scary! Not Obama, not Clinton, maybe McCain. Maybe Dora The Explorer,or maybe Ricky Bobby!Oh I Know,
how about Hunter Smith for President and Chris Wilson for Vice!Yeah, you would get my vote at this point.I will get more serious about it when time gets alittle bit closer.Voting is such a great responsibility and a privilege that we take for granted.I will vote, but I will research a bunch before I make up my mind, but I’m thinkin it will be John McCain. What do you think?

Peyton Manning for President! Oh shoot. I forgot that he’s not running! Darn! Ok, then I’m going with Obama then. He’s pretty cool. I’ll pray that Chris does well on stage. How is your wife coming along Hunter? Do you guys know the approximate due date of your baby (it is going to be a boy…right?)? Keep us updated and I will pray for Chris every night. :)

Well, I guess since I’m the president of Connersvine you can be the president of the U.S. I know which one’s cooler for sure. Hey, you flipped the coin!

    Hi, Hunter!
I’ve had a fun time browsing through your blog, and am now praying for your wife and a safe delivery! :) I loved your thoughts on children!
I’ve been a die-hard Colts fan since the moving vans left Baltimore, and have been a Connersvine fan for a while, although I have yet to actually see you guys perform. I did give your CD to three different people for Christmas this year. It is a fabulous album, and made a great gift! So thanks! :)

Oh, and politically speaking, I’m not at all excited about our options for president, but to whoever thinks Obama is “pretty cool,” his anti-life stance is not only un-cool, but it’s actually the most radical leftist pro-abortion stance that you can have. Please consider this article: The Elephant in the Room
Do you think we could do a write-in campaign for Tony Dungy? First black coach to win the Superbowl, first black man to win the Presidency? I think that sounds like a great plan! :)

    Grace and Peace,
    Angel

    Hey Hunter,

Jamey here. I’m a Worship Pastor in Pueblo, Colorado and just so ya know, Chris did an awesome job last night in the Springs. I had not heard of you before last night, but my son Jimmy, who’s B-Day is Sunday the 9th, (he’ll be 12) picked you out of the crowd. We are both COLTS fans, but he knows mostly all of the players more that I do, including you.(and of course, Peyton Manning & Coach Dungy-it’d be awesome to meet him) I served as Worship Pastor in Bloomington when Jimmy was born so since he’s a Hoosier, we both became COLTS fans 3 years ago.
You guys keep up the great work in ministry.
I guess I’ll be voting for McCain although, Huckabee is the MAN!
