We returned home from the third leg of the tour this morning. Our last show was in St. Louis. We start again this Thursday in Evansville, IN.
Wow, do I have the skinny on Chris from this last weekend. For those of you who are new to our blog my name is Hunter and Chris is the other side of Connersvine.(the one with the raspy voice) So, we’re on the road in the tour bus and there is a movie/documentary on TV about the beef cattle industry. Toward the end it started to show the actual slaughtering process which I must even admit was a little hard to stomach. I mean, I do believe that God placed animals here for us to enjoy by any means possible. As pets, entertainment, sports, breakfast, lunch, and supper. However, the grisly details of this program were getting to me. I can’t go into detail about this horrific and brutal process, but I will say that even after growing up on a beef cattle ranch in Texas I was growing faint from the excessive gore and cruelty.
So after watching this for a few minutes Chris stands up and leaves the bus. I thought for sure he was making an exit to 1.) make a point, and 2.) have a good cry. Imagine my surprise when he returns 25 minutes later with a bag of 2 double quarter pounders!!!! Didn’t even let the body cool. By the way, that dude eats meat like a buzzard. PETA???Whatever.

Connersvine
hilarious, I probably wouldnt have gotten a burger for at least a week.
One time I drove by a slaughter house and saw the conveyer shooting all the cow stuff into a huge bin. (nasty) I didnt eat meat for about 2weeks.
Wow, ok! I’ve seen some of those videos. Made the hubby and I, who are card-carrying red-meat lovers, think twice about the beef we buy at the store. Instead, we split a locally raised, home grown, pasture-fed cow. It was a small measure of comfort knowing that the cow had lived a long, happy life before becoming our dinner. But two double quarter pounders??? That’s just wrong.
Hunter you really need to beat him up!!He should have orderd a FISH sandwhich! PETA my foot! He might just eat a buzzard too! Just kidding Chris. I’ve seen this documentary,I had to turn it off,its the most heinous thing ever. We all love our fast food, just not after this program.
i think that is really sad i have seen a video about that to it made me cry!! poor cows!!!!!
