Hello! I know that we have done a poor job with keeping our blog updated but we are back! During football season not much goes on around Connersvine. HOWEVER, Its music season now!

Hi. I just wanted to share something great with everyone. This Friday night
my wife and I will be attending one of our now favorite holiday traditions.

Each holiday season Andrew Peterson and friends travel around the country and share the Behold the Lamb of God production. This Friday night they will be in Kokomo, IN at Grace United Methodist Church. If you are around and looking for something actually fun to do on Friday night you should come out and support them.

This year Andrew will be joined by Bebo Norman, Jill Philips, Andy Gullahorn and two of my favorite people Andrew Osenga (played guitar on our album) and Ben Shive (producer on our album). This wonderful night will not disappoint. Hope to see you there!

Hey good people of the inter-web!

First of all I apologize for being so bad at keeping up with what is going on. The reason is that really…there is not much going on.

Right now I am in LA with my lovely wife. She had to come out here for business so I decided to tag along. Yesterday I drove down to San Diego and visited one of our producers Pete Kipley. It  was a great time hanging with him and the weather is ridiculous here. Being from the snowy Mid-west  its really hard to hear to hear Christmas songs and walk outside to a sunny 75 degree day. Not that I am complaining.  

We played a show Friday night in New Palestine, IN and we had a great time.  Thanks so much to all of you that came out and supported us and the cause.  We are currently working on booking for the Spring and we will get those dates out as soon as we have them.

Tomorrow night at Ball State University we will be performing with the David Crowder Band. The event is called Worship Indiana and tickets are available through itickets.com. The show time is 7:30pm and doors open at 6:30pm. Hope to see you there!

Hey good people of the blog. I wanted to share with the millions of you that read this blog religiously every single day the song that I wrote for The Mentoring Project that I got to perform out in Portland this past weekend. Hope you like it and if not…don’t tell me, I am kinda sensitive!

I am now in the middle of Oregon’s wine country and boy is it a tasty country. Last night I had the great opportunity to perform a short set and the song I wrote for The Mentoring Project (TMP) in downtown Portland. The night was perfect until Don Miller called me up COMPLETELY UNEXPEDTEDLY to share “My story” and connection to fatherlessness and TMP. After I was finished I was grateful to share my story and humbled by the opportunity.

Hey friends, well the Mrs. And I are off to Oregon today. I was contacted by the Belmont Foundation a few months ago (mentoring program created by Donald Miller) and was asked if I would write a song to help promote the organization. After I wrote the song they invited me out to perform at an
event they are doing to kick off promotion of The Mentoring Project.

So, tomorrow night I will be hanging in Portland with Donald Miller and the rest of the gang. I am looking forward to it and will keep you all updated on how it goes!
