As I write this I am departing LAX flying over the wild fires that blaze near L.A. I thought it only appropriate to listen to “Fire on the Mountain” by the Grateful Dead while my plane soars over on its way to Indianapolis. If you have been following our recent Twitterings than you may know that I have been commuting to San Diego just about every weekend for the last month.
A few months ago my wife and I were asked by good friends if we would pray about moving to Southern California and joining the staff at Momentum Christian Church San Diego. After several weeks of praying and visiting we heard the call to share our gifts with the new church plant. So, since the decision I have been traveling out West and leading worship with the new community.
The obvious question: “So what does this mean for Connersvine…?”
The answer:
Hunter and his wife have been a part of praying along with us and we all feel that God is still using the ministry He birthed in us several years ago. So, we will continue to travel and serve the vision the He gave us to the best of our ability. We feel so blessed that He has allowed us to do this and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for Connersvine. We are so thankful to everyone who has supported this ministry and continue to ask for prayer during this time of transition.
