Hey good people of the blog. I wanted to share with the millions of you that read this blog religiously every single day the song that I wrote for The Mentoring Project that I got to perform out in Portland this past weekend. Hope you like it and if not…don’t tell me, I am kinda sensitive!

Chris, all I can say right now is WOW!! My heart is about to jump out of my chest!!! Amazing!! I think we all have a part of our past that we would love to erase,be it growing up without a parent ,or some other area through this walk in this life, this song fits them all. God is moving powerfully through you Chris, you are so blessed. Thank you for sharing. Becky
Chris,
I confess, I have not been checking your blog every single day, but I listened to the song anyway. I can just feel God working in this song! I agree with Rebecca that we all have things we wish we could erase and everyone can relate with the lyrics. When we are going through something that seems so awful at the time, we don’t understand why??? Then God comes in and turns all that pain into something for us to use to help heal others. You have allowed God to work through you, humbly sharing things I’m sure were very difficult to talk about with those who are feeling so alone and hurting. You have shown them that God has come in and swept you away from that nightmare and that he can do the same for them. I pray God keeps working through you and your music to lead people to Him!
I saw the Winterjam 09 schedule and artist list, any chance you will tour with them again?
Chris,
Must be a marvelous experience. Great song.
