The Mountains Win Again

Hey good people of the World Wide Web. Hunter and I just finished a great weekend of shows. Friday night we were in Plainfield, IN at First Baptist Church of Plainfield. We had a great time getting the full band back together and playing again. Saturday night we played at The Filling Station in Rushville, IN. This was the second year in a row that we have had the opportunity to hang out with the youth in Rushville. Again we had a blast and were able to partake in the glory of Pizza King which is right next door.

Now we are gearing up to head to Colorado Springs on Thursday and Friday where we are going to lead worship for a Focus on the Family chapel service and Hunter is going to speak. We are excited to be with the good people at FOTF and the get the opportunity to worship with them. Also, to me there is little greater than the feeling of looking out a window and seeing mountains instead of flat corn fields. I love my state but lets be serious, in a fight mountains would kick corn’s butt.

Keep us in your prayers as we travel and share the message and songs that God has given us. We are so grateful for your support and prayers.

Chris

You guys were great at the Filling Station. My family and I came to see you guys even though we knew it was for the youth. We are inspired by your ministry and are big fans. By the way, we were the ones that yelled “Hero.”

Dude, I’m so jealous! Pizza King rules! Nothing out here in Peoria even comes close.

I pray that you have a great trip out west, that you are able to enjoy the beauty that God laid out there, and that you return safely to your families after having an amazing experience!!

Enjoy the mountains and worshiping with the FOTF poeple. I’m sure it will be an awesome experience. We will keep you in our prayers for safe travel and that the Lord will use you both in a powerful way!

I picked up a schedule for the Fort Wayne Wizards baseball team and there was a picture of Hunter and a little commentary about Faith Night on the inside. We look forward to seeing you there.

I want to share a cool web site with all of you. It has a scripture verse for everyone’s birthday. Check it out. http://www.birthverse.com/mybirthverse.cfm

Saw you and Hunter at the Focus on the Family chapel service. Thank you so much for leading an incredible time of worship. We really enjoyed the songs, as well as Hunter’s insightful remarks.

I am sitting here listening to your CD that you brought with you when you came to speak to us at our chapel(FOTF). Hunter, I was very impressed by your words to us. It was refreshing to hear your humbleness and love for the Lord. Your music is Magnificent! I want to hear more! I really like “Lay Down” and “Overflow”. Looking forward to those crossing into praise music at church! Chris, you mentioned you will be releasing a second song next month, I will definately be looking for it!

Be blessed! Stay healthy as you travel and be safe!
