This sucks.
I have not been feeling well since I got home on Monday afternoon. It has progressively gotten worse so I went to the doctor this morning only to find that I have Strep Throat. Its so hard being sick when I want to be enjoying my time home with my wife. However, I guess I would rather be home and sick than on the road dealing with this. I would greatly appreciate your prayers as we head back out on Friday morning. Thanks so much.

Chris,this is like the 4th person I’ve heard say they have strep. Im sorry to hear,but glad your home where your wifey can take care of you,at least for a day. Drink lots of fluids it really does help and dont be kissin on Hunter cause it’s highly contagious!Some one has to sing! Im prayin down the heavens! ! Take care,be safe now.

sorry to hear that my sister is a antsy person and she had strep and she was down for a week! it was actually kinda funny but anyways not for you! not that i was referring to…how wow i’mgonna stop while i’m ahead say i’m praying for you.
So sorry that you are sick. My husband and I have a friend from high school who works for Mercy Me. His name is Wes and he does something with their instruments or something. After we read you’re blog my husband called Wes and he said you’d better find another bus for the weekend. Also said you’re sick cuz you never take a bath! Thinking about you in this time and love your music. (Even if Wes is on your case!)
Oh my-I hope you feel better soon! I had 3 rounds of strep last month (b/c the antibiotics were not strong enough), so I hope you got some strong stuff and it dissapears soon!! Blessings as you head back out on the road~
I have to say that when I read the title of this post, I automatically assumed it was Hunter who had strep, as that would explain his “pitchy” performance the other night during his Home American Idol audition…
