OK, I just want to clarify a few things for the record here…
Hunter just started this whole blogging thing and he is already trying to start a fight. I went fishing last week because I wanted to be socialable and be “one of the guys”. I generally don’t take part in these kind of activities because quite frankly, I am an animal lover! Yes its true. Call me a sissy, call me what you may but hunting, fishing, trying to masculate myself by killing something is not my idea of fun.
Hunter wrote in a recent blog that I caught and harmed a fish while out with the boys. This is simply a bold faced lie and a sad attempt to get me kicked out of PETA. I don’t take it personally, it probably has more to do with our names. See, my name “Christopher” means “Christ’s Light”, Hunter’s name…well I guess speaks for itself. I just love all of God’s creatures and will never find killing a sport but hey, I never really was any good at sports.

Don’t worry Chris. You don’t need to be ashamed of your new-found fishing talent. It’s okay to say you had fun! Hunter has football and you have fishing - both are manly sports and depending on the size of the fish, require significant levels of strength and testosterone. An 11lb Florida hybrid striped bass sounds pretty intimidating if you ask me.
All joking aside, you guys are a blessing and your ministry reaches so many people. Keep it up, you’re in our prayers here in Indy!
I am an animal lover, as well. (Ask the 2 dogs and cat that currently number as many as the humans in our house!) But some animals were put on this earth for me to go catch and fry up!! And I sure do love to eat them!
The kitty is a much more touching picture than the PETA shirt…
Hey I just saw you guys at Winter Jam in Columbus and I thought you were really great! Keep up the good work!
