So good to spend a few days back in Indy with the family. My son turns 3 about the same time our second son will be born so we are in the nesting stage once again. Our 2 year old still hasn’t figured out that everyone isn’t pregnant all of the time. He thinks that because mom has a baby inside he must also. Sometimes he tells me what his baby is like. Sometimes he tells me what the baby inside of me is like also. This is troubling and funny at the same time. Even funnier are my attempts to correct him and explain it all to him. I typically fumble around and throw my hands up in the air about the time he asks if we can go play with cars. Precious times.

Chris is still in Florida after that leg of our tour. He is on a fishing trip and today he sent me a text saying that he’d caught an 11 pound Florida hybrid striped bass!! Said he hooked it in the eye unfortunately so mounting it would take some real work by a taxidermist. At any rate, he reports that with a little batter and some crisco it’ll “fry up nice”. Hope he and the boys enjoy!
